The 2025 NJ Friendlies Tournament, organized by NJODP, is an intra-state competition designed to provide valuable full-sided game experience for our teams. This event allows NJODP teams to compete against one another in an 11v11 format (9 v 9 2014), offering players the opportunity to build a strong foundation of team play while giving coaches a chance to further assess their development in a competitive setting.

The NJ Friendlies serve as an essential component of our player development pathway by:
- Allowing teams to experience full-sided match play in preparation for upcoming tournaments.
- Providing coaches with additional opportunities to evaluate individual and team progress.
- Helping players develop a deeper understanding of tactical concepts within the 9 v 9 / 11 v 11 game environment.
Please note: If other state associations become available to participate, the event format will be adjusted to a State vs. State competition to further enhance the level of play and experience for our teams.
