
Get ready for an exclusive opportunity to enhance your skills this summer with NJYS Summer Skills Camp (SSC)! This is a restricted invitation only for current ODP/YO players.
The SSC is a two-day event that will take place in August and is designed to help players take their game to the next level. The camp is designed by NJYS Director of Technical Operations, James Galanis, and conducted by NJYS ODP Coaching Director, Lou Mignone, along with other ODP coaching staff with A Licenses.
The focus of the SSC is on technical development, giving attendees the chance to improve their ball handling skills and improve their tactical awareness. Each day of the camp will be packed with training and small-sided tactical games.
Only 50 players per time slot will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis, so don't miss out on this unique opportunity to develop your skills with some of the best coaches in the state.

Curriculum
Day 1:
- Juggling: Develop your control and coordination with the ball through various juggling exercises.
- Foot-Skills: Improve your technical ability and ball control with various footwork drills.
- 1 v 1: Learn how to unbalance an opponent with confidence and skill.
- Dribbling: Enhance your competence with dribbling and running with the ball.
- Tactical Small Sided Games: Apply your new skills in small-sided games that focus on tactical awareness, decision-making and execution.
Day 2:
- 1st Touch: Master the art of receiving and redirecting the ball with precision and control.
- Passing: Develop your passing ability with various drills and exercises that focus on accuracy and speed.
- Shooting: Improve your accuracy and power when shooting on goal.
- 2 v 2: Learn how to combine with a teammate and create opportunities on the field.
- Tactical Small Sided Games: Apply your new skills in small-sided games that focus on tactical awareness, decision-making and execution.
